HOW TO PAY
Once we have received your application form, we will contact you to arrange your payment method and book you onto one of our courses.
If you are paying in full, we will invoice you for the full amount of the course cost in which you have selected.
If you wish to pay a deposit with the remaining balance to be paid, we will invoice you for a non-refundable deposit of £200.00. We will then invoice you for the remaining balance 21 days before the course commencement date.
If you wish to pay for your course using our monthly payment option, we will arrange for our finance partner to contact you and set up an agreement. A 10% deposit is required with our payment plan which is non refundable.
It must be noted that the course cost does NOT include the SIA license fee or food.
It is a Taylor Made Securities Ltd policy to restrict the number of students to a maximum of 8 students per course. Places are awarded on a first come first served basis.
Course dates may change due to circumstances beyond our control. Under these circumstances, we will give students as much notice as possible.
Upon receiving your application and deposit you will be sent confirmation of booking and your receipt together with joining instructions & map of how to find us.
If you need to cancel your booking and have paid a deposit, or full payment, you can transfer to another course.
(Not within 14 days prior to course commencement date.)
If a confirmed course booking is cancelled Taylor Made Securities reserve the right to apply the following charges:
Cancellations within 4 weeks of course start date. 50% of total course fee will be charged.
Cancellations within 2 weeks of course start date. 75% of total course fee will be charged.
Cancellations within 48 hours of course start date. 100% of total course fee will be charged.
In order for you to enrol on our course you must be at least 18 years of age. You must have a clean criminal record and be able to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English.
Because of the nature of the course, your health and fitness must be of an adequate level. You will be required to bring proof of identity and address with you to Day 1 of the course.
FIRST AID REQUIREMENTS
On completion of the Close Protection course your information is uploaded to our awarding body and then onto the SIA. Therefore it is essential that you bring with you a copy of your “in date” first aid at work certificate or equivalent.
If you attend the Close Protection course without the first aid certificate your qualification will not be uploaded to the SIA by our awarding body until we receive a copy of the first aid certificate.
If you are taking your first aid training with us also, there is no further action needed.

The information on this form is collected for the primary purpose of assessing your application for admission to Protective Security candidature. Other purposes of collection include the creation of an enrolment record on the student database, attending to administrative matters, corresponding with you and statistical analyses. If you choose not to complete all the questions on this form, it will not be possible for Taylor Made Securities Ltd to assess your application.
Personal information may also be disclosed to the relevant bodies for the verification of your qualifications. You have a right to access personal information Taylor Made Securities Ltd hold about you, subject to any exceptions in relevant legislation. You may seek access to your personal information or inquire about the handling of your personal information.
I acknowledge that Taylor Made Securities Ltd reserves the right to vary or reverse any decision regarding admission or enrolment made based on incorrect or incomplete information. I have read and understand the above conditions and am prepared to accept them in full.
